After hours fun at Wellington Zoo
Wake up to the call of the gibbons and roar of the lions as part of a special after hours animal adventure. Have the Zoo to yourself after hours as you go on guided behind the scenes tours in the evening and first thing in the morning.
Sleepovers
Ideal for school and community groups, bed down for the night in the Zoo’s Archibald Centre overlooking Monkey Island or in the Living classroom. Let one of our guides show you the secret life of the Zoo animals and people. Light supper and breakfast, accommodation and sleeping mats are provided.
We cater for groups of 25 – 80 people
You must be at least 5 years old.
$30 per person
7.00pm until 10.00am the next morning.
Zoopreme Sleepovers
For a fantastic slumber party try our Zoopreme sleepover. In addition to the behind the scenes evening and morning tours, you'll receive a yummy birthday cake for supper and breakfast from Velluto at the Zoo. In the morning our guides will bring two friendly animals to visit your group.
Minimum 17 people
$45 per person.
Please bring along sleeping bags and pillows, warm clothes and a camera, groups are welcome to bring their own mattresses
