Chimp Day 2006 - Update

Thanks to everyone who attended Chimp Day on March 26th, especially those who attended our special auction of Chimp art.
We raised over $2000 from the sale of Jessie's paintings, framed original chimp photos, signed Weta goodies amongst other things. The proceeds raised will be split between buying enrichment tools for our new chimp block (due to be open later this year)and the Wellington Zoo Conservation Fund, which supports internal and external conservation projects.
