The LEOTC contract conditions & how they apply to Wellington Zoo:
In order for schools with Year 1 - 13 pupils to qualify for the LEOTC rates of
- $6.00 per student (as at January 1, 2007)
- $6.00 per adult helper (as at January 1, 2007)
- Teachers and teacher aides are free.
The following conditions must be satisfied: Arrangements for the visit were negotiated with the LEOTC booking system, (bookings made by faxing back the booking form, emailing zooschool@wellingtonzoo.com or by phoning 04 801 4787)
- Learning outcomes for the visit were negotiated with the teacher prior to the visit
- Pre-visit information was provided (this will include the Booking form RAMS etc).
- A Zoo Educator worked with the group during their visit
- A LEOTC evaluation was undertaken during and/or after the visit
If you are a school who wishes to visit the Zoo without meeting these conditions normal Zoo entry fee will apply:
- $7.50 per child
- $15 per adult
Payment:
Must be made on the day of your visit or you will be charged full admission prices.
Zoo School open times: Weekdays 9.30am - 4.30pm
Pre-schools
Pre-schools and kindergartens are welcome to explore the Zoo. If you book your visit in advance special rates will apply:
If you don't book your visit in advance, you will be charged at normal Zoo admission prices.
