Two iconic Wellington
institutions have cemented their partnership, with The Dominion Post renewing
as a sponsor of the Wellington Zoo Trust.
“It’s great to partner with a local success story such as The Dominion
Post,” said Wellington Zoo Fundraising Manager, Ryan Hambleton. “Over the past eight years, their support has
helped us on our journey to being the best little Zoo in the world, which means
a lot to everyone here at Wellington Zoo.”
The partnership allows the Zoo to provide better services and facilities
to their three main stakeholders – animals, visitors, and staff. The Dominion Post makes complimentary copies
of the paper available to Wellington Zoo patrons, but also works closely with Wellington
Zoo to develop exclusive benefits for their subscribers.
“We have supported
Wellington Zoo for a number of years, and it is a relationship which we value
and enjoy,” said Paul Williams, Marketing Manager for the Central Region at The
Dominion Post. “It presents strong benefits
and opportunities for both The Dominion Post and Wellington Zoo. We look
forward to continuing to work very closely with Wellington Zoo as they cement
their position as the best little zoo in the world.”
“With the support of The Dominion Post, we are able to ensure we make
connections with a wide range of people throughout New Zealand – through both print
and online media that The Dominion Post offer,” Hambleton explained. “This in turn allows us to help our visitors learn
about conservation and what we can all do to make a difference.”
“We look forward to offering exclusive deals to both The Dominion Post
and Wellington Zoo members over the
coming months; helping more people find their personal connection with nature.”
